    We have brought together the latest technologies for performance and biological testing that provide deeper insights into how the body is performing.

    The cornerstone of our biological testing is our portable metabolic analyser. The energy systems of the body are critical for any performance, and our analyser can see exactly which energy systems are being used throughout an exercise, total calories consumed, the balance between fat and carbohydrates, lung and heart performance, oxygen consumption data and more.

    Metabolic analysis has long been established as the gold standard testing protocol for a wide range of applications, and our portable analyser now brings this to a wider range of sporting applications.

    Perhaps the most important parts of any development programme are the periods of recovery.

    This is when the changes and adaptations from training take place, and poor recovery will reduce development, leading to poorer performance and increasing risk of injury.

    We provide a wide range of recovery services and strategies, from nutritional requirements, sports massage and physical therapy, cold treatments, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).

    Our HBOT chamber combines high oxygen intake of 90%+ concentration within a high pressure chamber or approximately 1.5x atmospheric pressure.

    This combination has been proven to increase the oxygen uptake within cells, a crucial element for cell repair and cellular recovery. With oxygen making up 60%+ of body weight, increasing cellular oxygen uptake has been proven to significantly increase recovery from a wide range of conditions.

    Our HBOT chamber can help you recover more quickly from each sessions, increasing training potential, and reduce recovery time from injuries.

    Using 3D motion capture, we can build a complete picture of how the body is moving during performance, exactly which muscles are working at any moment and by how much.

    Even small improvements in movement efficiency can greatly improve performance, save energy and reduce the risk of injury.

    Nutrition Analysis

    Good nutrition is fundamental to good health and maximising athletic performance.

    Our nutritional services can help you understand how your body reacts to different foods, which foods are right for you and guide you towards making the right changes for long term, sustainable good health and performance.

    Our dietary analysis tools can calculate your intake for over 180 nutrients we get from foods and where you may need to make adjustments based on your goals.

    Using our metabolic analyser, you can get detailed reports of how your body uses energy and what foods you need to eat to meet your energy intake targets.

    For example, it will tell you how efficient you are at burning fat and what this means for your diet and training needs.

    You can also combine this with our continuous blood glucose monitoring to see how your diet impacts your blood glucose levels, helping you make even better choice of what to eat and when.

    Join Our Development Programme

    Our mission is to find and develop the best young sporting talent, regardless of background

    If you are interested in joining our development programme, or know a telented athlete, get in touch and see how we can help

    We are looking for athletes between 16-25 that have the potential to develop into world class sportsmen and sportswomen.

    During these natural physical development years is where we feel our resources and expertise can have the most impact, although athletes of all ages can be considered for support.

    Check out some of the areas we look for athletes to assist their development.

    Many talented athletes do not progress through the development pathways in their sport for many reasons, such as injury, location, resources or simply not the right fit for that coaching setup. Often, it may just not be the right time for them.

    These are some of the situations our athletes may find themselves in:

    • Recently dropped out of an academy - One of our primary objectives is to provide a landing place for athletes, for whatever reason, have dropped out of a professional sporting environment but have a desire and talent to succeed.
    • University athletes – who may not be getting the support they need to balance their studies and athletic development. Particular focus where there is no adequate competition or coaching at an athlete’s university for their sport.
    • Club level – talented athletes that do not have a clear pathway for their sport.

    Even for athletes within an academy or sporting pathway there can be significant hurdles to their development. Many sporting pathways also have different levels at which they support their athletes.

    While our resources are focused on athletes outside of professional pathways, we also look to fill the gaps for those within, who often face challenges just as big, such as travel distances, injuries, resources or knowledge.

    We also work with academies and sporting pathways to provide expertise in areas where they may currently be lacking resources, reaching a greater range of athletes.

    In most cases, the difference between talented young athletes that make it to professional sport and those that don’t is their level of commitment to their dream.

    Many young people like the idea of being a professional sportsman or sportswoman but are unable to commit to what is required to get there.

    The physical, mental and social stress of full-time training and competition can be difficult to manage, especially with added pressure of their education. While we support our athletes in coping with these demands, they must have the drive and determination to succeed through the inevitable ups and downs they will experience.

    Whatever the background of an athlete, our primary assessment is based on the talents and abilities they have. Our aim is to seek out the best talent and help develop it to international standards, whatever their background or circumstances.

    Our talent assessments cover three main areas:

    • Physical Ability – Physical ability will be a primary factor for success in many sports. A 7ft basketball player or a natural sprinter will have an advantage for success in sport.
    • Technical Ability – while some athletes have physical potential, others develop highly efficient technical ability, performing at greater speeds and precision to their peers.
    • Sporting Ability – some athletes may not have advanced physical or technical development but have an innate understanding of their sport and can perform with a vision and anticipation that is difficult to develop.

    Athletes undertake several physical assessments, which are compared with performance data for their age range in their sport to assess what type of athlete they could develop into.

    Sport specific analysis is conducted and where their technical and sporting abilities compare to their peers.

    2-month extended assessment during their base conditioning and education introduction, while commitment to the programme is monitored.
